The Pianimo app
The short version
Pianimo is a piano game for young children. It collects no personal information. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics, no tracking and no chat. Pianimo works without an internet connection, never uses the microphone or camera, and sends nothing about your child anywhere.

What Pianimo stores, and where
Pianimo saves a few settings on the device only, so the app remembers them next time:
- Grown-ups settings: volume, Bop's language, letters on notes, Bop's voice, silly sounds, vibration.
- Whether the first-launch song has been played.
- Whether all songs have been unlocked (after a purchase or restore).
This information never leaves the device. Deleting the app deletes it. We do not store progress, scores, recordings or usage history. When Bop plays back what your child just played, that playback is held in memory for that moment only and is never saved.
What Pianimo does not do
- No sign-up, accounts or profiles.
- No advertising and no ad networks.
- No analytics, crash-reporting or tracking SDKs, and no advertising identifier (IDFA / AAID).
- No microphone, camera, location, contacts or photos access.
- No chat, social features or user-generated content shared with others.
- No links out of the app that a child can reach.
In-app purchase
Pianimo offers one optional, one-time purchase that unlocks all songs. It sits behind a grown-ups gate (hold the lock for 3 seconds). The purchase is processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) under their own privacy policies. We never see payment details. The store only tells the app that the purchase succeeded, so it can unlock the songs, including when you tap "Restore a previous purchase".
On Android, Google Play's billing component needs network access (the INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE and BILLING permissions) to talk to Google Play during a purchase or restore. Pianimo itself uses no network features.
Children's privacy
Pianimo is designed for children aged 4–10 and is built to comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the GDPR (including its provisions for children), and Apple's Kids Category and Google Play Families policies. Because we collect no personal information from anyone, there is nothing to access, correct or delete. If you believe otherwise, contact us and we will help.
Third-party content
The piano sound uses the Salamander Grand Piano samples by Alexander Holm (CC BY 3.0). Animal sounds come from BigSoundBank (CC0). The fonts are Fredoka, Nunito and Baloo 2 (SIL Open Font License). None of these involve any data collection.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date above and the version in the app stores. We will never start collecting children's personal information without first updating this policy and, where required, obtaining verifiable parental consent.

This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no trackers, and it loads nothing from other companies. Fonts, sounds and videos are all served from this site.
The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the pages and protect them from attacks; we do not receive or store this data. See cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
